Episode 4 - Arachne

This episode was entirely devoted to a modern retelling of the story of Arachne so i thought in this blog post i would tell you the original story.
So... There once was a woman called Arachne she was a very talented weaver and was very disrespectful towards the Gods. Athena, well known for her amazing weaving skills, disguised herself and went to see Arachne.
Arachne, to a disguised Athena, said that she could easily best Athena in Weaving (Not a good plan)
An outraged Athena reveals herself and challenges her to a weaving contest.
Athena weaves a picture showing the Gods as amazing beings of power and greatness whereas Arachne goes for a more disrespectful approach showing the Gods in a very bad light. Athena understandably gets pissed off as her family is portrayed in a very bad light and slightly overreacts by turning Arachne into a spider and punishing her by forcing her to weave for the rest of her life... Arachne - Archnids Get it?
